Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring securement and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/DS) and manage all necessary paperwork for DOT compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.
- Uphold a professional image and maintain a clean driving record at all times.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and fleet improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience in flatbed, tanker, or dry van operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Willingness to travel routes between Seattle, WA and New York areas.
