Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) within Baltimore metro area
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous delivery logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight at client sites
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize electronic logging systems for compliance tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Baltimore metro roadways and traffic patterns
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/night shift availability
