Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.
- Maintain accurate digital logs (EOBR) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid California CDL Class A or Class B license.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco roadways and traffic patterns is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
