Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and law enforcement.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical examination on file.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and freight handling.
