Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) on local and regional delivery routes.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring product integrity and handling all freight types.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, bills of lading, and electronic logging devices (ELD) accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe driving environment and vehicle cabin.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Oregon.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and comprehensive background check.
- Basic knowledge of cargo handling and safety regulations.
