Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the proper endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing duties requiring standing for extended periods.
