Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently across the regional route network.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo using appropriate tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and daily logs.
- Adhere strictly to all FMCSA regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding load status and delivery times.
- Represent the company professionally at shipper and receiver locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the State of Kansas.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
