Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) across regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize route efficiency to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Omaha metro and regional geography
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight and weekend shifts as needed
- DOT-compliant electronic logging system experience
