Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional routes within Louisiana
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous trip documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load planning and delivery timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal routing and on-time deliveries
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb equipment safely
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (required)
- Familiarity with Louisiana highway systems and local routes
- Basic smartphone proficiency for digital logs and communication
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for daily dispatch
