Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul deliveries across Georgia and surrounding states
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper securing techniques
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate with clients and team members regarding delivery status and issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and GPS proficiency
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed
- No major preventable accidents in the last 3 years
