Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS, and DOT compliance
- Accurately maintain electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and timing
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Report mechanical issues and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (current)
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Nashville metro area and Tennessee routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays as needed
