Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain DOT compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients by delivering freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of navigation tools and map reading.
