Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery locations, including accurate paperwork signing.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local Milwaukee routes and logistics.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
