Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely transport goods to designated delivery locations across the Milwaukee metro area.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
- Keep the truck clean and organized, performing basic maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with necessary endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (Local/Regional preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor duties.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Reliable communication skills and punctuality.
