Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in strict compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all materials are secured properly for transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent serious violations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of interstate driving regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and possess the physical stamina for the job.
