Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring product integrity and safety during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Navigate Las Vegas traffic and regional routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding status updates and potential delays.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements.
- A clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Current DOT medical card and physical qualification certificate.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 7 years.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
