Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Deliver freight to designated locations within Indianapolis metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and pre/post-trip inspection reports
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding routes
- Basic computer literacy for logging systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
