Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or Class B) in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Complete accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs (DVIR).
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Uphold strict adherence to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (State requirements).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT medical card.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and navigation systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in various weather conditions.
