Job Overview:
We are looking for Class A or Class B CDL Drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently across Northern California. If you are a safety-conscious professional looking for a fresh opportunity, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) in accordance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including seatbelt usage and speed limits.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements (hazmat, tankers, doubles/triples if applicable).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local San Francisco and Northern California roadways.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate amounts of cargo during loading and unloading.
