Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive commercial trucks to deliver goods across the Las Vegas valley and surrounding areas.
- Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load & Unload: Secure cargo and assist with loading and unloading freight at customer locations.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all necessary delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Professionalism: Represent the company professionally at all times and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Valid Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements (Tanker/Hazmat preferred).
- Clean Record: A clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Physical Health: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Skills: Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Residency: Must be a legal resident or citizen of the United States.
