Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Complete deliveries within Detroit metro and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips (pre/post-trip inspections)
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Detroit metro routes and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings/weekends as needed
- DOT medical certification required
