Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo with care, accuracy, and adherence to weight regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs (DOT 7200) and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery locations, handling documentation professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
