Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on highways and port roads.
- Load and unload cargo at various distribution centers in Long Beach.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Uphold a high standard of safety and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional traffic laws.
