Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on highways and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and securement devices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records at all times.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 6 months.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
