Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout the Bay Area
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Navigate San Francisco's complex urban terrain and delivery routes
- Maintain clean driving record and follow all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with San Francisco Bay Area roadways and delivery zones
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Smartphone with reliable data for app-based dispatch communication
