Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated local routes within 100-mile radius
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper securement techniques following DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Complete electronic logs (ELD) and daily paperwork with 100% accuracy
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-paid)
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
