Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and paperwork according to FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Uphold a professional image at all times while representing the company.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving freight, as well as standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
