Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on local/regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and delays
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight as required, using proper lifting techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee-area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and weekends
