Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight delivery
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and route documentation
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch during transit
- Coordinate loading/unloading at distribution centers
- Report mechanical issues and vehicle performance metrics
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- 1+ year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of regional roadways
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
