Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DOT) and all required documentation.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Report mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state trucking regulations.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and occasional overtime.
