Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Ohio and surrounding states
- Ensure safe, on-time delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and defensive driving
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
