Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local/regional routes within 150 miles of Raleigh
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system records
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Represent LogiTrans with professionalism during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment & random)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of NC/VA route geography and truck navigation
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Must pass background check and MVR verification
