Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry vans/reefers) following FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Adapt to dynamic schedules and optimize delivery routes for efficiency
- Participate in monthly safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-paid)
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and knowledge of Midwest geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
