Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles in a safe, efficient, and legal manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to traffic laws and route plans.
- Maintain a clean driving record and company vehicle appearance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, interstate commerce laws, and safety standards.
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading duties and sit for extended periods.
