Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across Miami-Dade and Broward counties
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and minor vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of temperature-sensitive materials
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and ELD systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend shifts as needed
- Knowledge of Florida highway regulations and local routes
