Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for local/regional routes within Portland metropolitan area
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure optimal safety standards
- Load/unload freight with precision and care
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery priorities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Portland traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/late night shifts
