Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of diverse freight types
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean, compliant commercial vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Louisville metro area and KY roadways
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
