Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to transport freight within San Francisco and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Adapt to dynamic delivery schedules and traffic conditions in urban environments
- Represent Golden State Logistics with professionalism at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of recent CDL driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Francisco Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Must be 21+ years old with proof of citizenship or legal residency
