Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles in metropolitan and highway environments
- Execute precise loading/unloading procedures with specialized equipment
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic logging compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Navigate optimized routes using GPS and real-time traffic data
- Ensure temperature-controlled cargo integrity for sensitive shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- TWIC card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
