Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance records
- Handle specialized freight (temperature-sensitive, hazardous materials permitted)
- Utilize GPS routing systems for efficient on-time deliveries
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for secure loading/unloading
- Submit accurate delivery documentation and mileage reports
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs or major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and weight regulations
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times
