Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
- Represent Metro Transit Solutions with safety-first professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of local Boston metro area routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
