Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment while ensuring cargo security.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate logbooks (ELD) for compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Experience with flatbed, tanker, or dry van preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of local Boston area routes and geography.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties associated with loading/unloading.
