Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods on strict schedules
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization and delivery confirmation
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Miami-Dade County road networks
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
