Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Merchandise: Transport packages from distribution centers to residential and commercial customer locations in a timely manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by presenting packages professionally and obtaining signatures when required.
- Route Navigation: Utilize our GPS-enabled mobile app to optimize delivery routes and avoid traffic delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is clean and operational at all times.
- Proof of Delivery: Accurately log deliveries and returns using our digital handheld devices.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local traffic laws, parking regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a current and valid California Driver's License (Class C or higher).
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major infractions within the last 3 years.
- Smartphone: Must have a smartphone (Android or iOS) capable of downloading our delivery application.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Local Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Los Angeles streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
