Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations
- Transport goods across Los Angeles County and Southern California routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch team to ensure on-time performance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Los Angeles metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
