Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) within NYC metropolitan area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain meticulous logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Deliver goods to commercial clients with precision and timeliness
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route optimization
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Knowledge of hazmat transport preferred but not required
