Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes within Southern California
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Represent our company professionally in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and TWIC card
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment
- Knowledge of California's port operations and LA/Long Beach traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
