Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across California and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and traffic regulations
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and secure loads according to safety standards
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding shipment status, delays, or route changes
- Maintain clean driving record and complete all required safety training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California transportation regulations and route planning
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
