Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in adherence to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and issues.
- Uphold a professional image and strict adherence to safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to sit for extended periods.
