Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van) within the Charlotte metro area and Southeast region
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage efficient loading/unloading processes with minimal idle time
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte-area highways and delivery zones
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Team player with proactive communication style
